In short, this is a no win no fee recruitment model. It comes with minimal risk to the client but no guarantees that the role will be filled; clients pay once I have completed the process to your satisfaction. If you are looking for a guaranteed hire then a retained search may suit you better.

Retained recruitment


A retained search involves a commitment from both the client and myself. Using this search method I would ask that I be your exclusive partner in the candidate search and in turn I guarantee to work with you until the role is filled to your satisfaction. This method is suitable whether you have single or multiple roles needing filled.

Process

For both retained and contingent searches, I begin with an initial phone briefing, followed by a visit to your business. Meeting face to face and seeing the venue first hand allows me to fully understand your culture and the type of candidate who will thrive there.


Together, we’ll define your ideal candidate profile before agreeing on the best recruitment model for your needs.



From there, my recruitment process looks like this:


  • Using my network and talent bank to approach candidates who fit both the skills and behaviours you’re looking for.
  • Managing the full recruitment marketing process, including advertising on sector-specific job boards.
  • Leveraging digital and social media to increase reach and attract the right people in the right locations.
  • Conducting a minimum two-stage interview process, including at least one face-to-face interview before shortlisting.
  • Assessing candidates’ skills and experience through the lens of my 25+ years of hospitality operations expertise.
  • Providing a recruitment report that highlights the strengths of shortlisted candidates against your role requirements.
  • Acting as the liaison to arrange interviews, support job-offer negotiations, and secure references.
